Windscreen or no windscreen?
#31
I’m encouraged to hear that Roper. One thing about wind screens that I don’t like is that they detract from the beauty of this bike. In contrast I think the road comet enhances the look, giving it a little bit of a cafe style. I wondered how effective it would be though and you’ve answered that question. But do you find it increases buffeting of your head as others have reported?

I ride with a full face helmet and earplugs. I haven't noticed a difference in noise and buffeting with the RC2 on. I'm 6' 0" and have extra foam in my saddle, so my head may be a little higher than other riders. The RC2 with standard shield directs the wind to about shoulder level, so perhaps my head and neck are above any buffeting effects.

I also have the matching hand guards installed. I love them. When the weather is colder, my hands stay much warmer. I even leave them on during the summer and just open the sleeve vents on my jacket.
