I finally received it today. I would have had it two weeks ago, but it sat at the post office because they didn't leave a notice that they had attempted to deliver it.
Anyway, I installed both right away. The seat was easy. I just had to transfer a couple brackets from the stock seat. The rack was a little more complicated, but really only required removing 4 bolts and wrangling it into place.
I'll give my impressions of the seat after I have a couple weeks on it. For now I just went for a 2 mile jaunt to check it out. It's definitely flatter and seems slightly wider than the stock seat. The foam is nice and firm. I think I'm going to really like it, but it's too soon to tell.
I take it that is the lower 15mm cozy seat?

Good question. I have no idea.
Good question. I have no idea.
Apparently the Cozy seat is offered in two different heights. Compared to the stock Japan market seat (775 mm or 30.5 in), one is 15mm higher (790 mm or 31.1 in) the other is 30 mm higher (805 mm or 31.7 in).
By comparison the seat height for the stock OEM seat in North America is 20 mm higher (795 mm or 31.3 in).
Obviously the wider width of the Cozy seats will also have an impact on the overall ergonomic effect.

OK.....I hope this doesn't get to confusing.......I'm trying to figure this out....
Japan stock seat is 20mm lower then the American stock seat.
+15mm will actually be -5mm for the american version
+30mm will actually be +10mm for the american version
American stock is according to the specifications is 31.3
Samurider offers in inches Low @ 30.7
Samurider offers in inches Tall @ 31.3
Samurider offers the Honda official seat @ 31.6
I want to get this cozy seat, even though I've only ridden mine about 5 miles
I'm happy with the height of this seat, adjusting for the wider width of the cozy my guess would be to order the one from Samurider 31.3 assuming that this will be the american stock height? I don't think I will mind the feeling of the seat making me feel a little taller because of it being wider
The only thing I don't like is the stock seat making me lean more forward more then I care for...
I may even want to put some risers on to help in straightening me up.
I would appreciate the guys that have bought the cozy if it eliminated the pushing and leaning forward feeling that I don't want. I'm pushing around 5'
8" and 9" tall with a 29 to 30 inch inseam.
Also did you feel that the cozy was more comfortable then the stock seat.
I have a Honda 250L enduro street bike that I put a Corbin seat on it and absolutely love it.... I can ride forever compared to the stock seat. I don't particularly care for the Corbin that they make for CB 1100, except for Chip Becks version. I like the appeal of the cozy much better, but don't want to regret buying the cozy knowing that my derriere loves the Corbin.
Sorry for the long winded post, but after being a lurker since this board came to be, I know I will get some good advice and or opinions.
I love my new bike, but I knew going in I will need, want to make some adjustments.....
Thanks in advance......Steve aka Headbanger02
