Remove the right side side cover, remove the three Philip screws and the snorkel to access the airbox, Pull the filter out

p.68 of the ever helpful (2014) owner's manual complete with illustrations. It also indicates what you do with the filter once you have it out. Sorry, no spoiler here.

When I first did a search that thread didn't come up, my bad.
But thank you, very easy to swap out vs the NC700X.
