Congrats, very sporty looking. The 2013's do tend to look sportier than the dlx's especially from that angle.

I like that windscreen... but knowing how clumsy and unskilled I am, I'd probably have my headlight alignment all messed up in short order.

I know what you mean. My last post was asking for tips on checking the headlight-immediately after installing the flyscreen. Thanks to this forum, I know how to check it now.Beer

Mike,

That Marlin screen looks really nice! Initially I didn't like the Marlin as it looked too tall to me, but the picture you provided shows that the taller screen looks fine. How well does it block wind (realizing that it's not a full sized fairing)?

Thanks. I like the look of the Marlin, too. The swept back screen looks good from the side, as well.
It takes the wind off of the chest primarily. At about 50+ mph I could definitely feel the wind pushing in the chest area before the screen installation. Now, I don't. When I put my hand out to feel for the wind, it seems as though it's hitting at face level now, but it's kind of hard to tell. I wear a full face helmet (Bell RS1), and I don't really feel it. It may be a little louder, but again, it's really hard to tell. I guess the real test will be highway speeds, but I haven't been on one since the installation. It might be a while, because I try to avoid them.
