Thread size and pitch of our oil filer caps. - kmoney_imp - 01-26-2016 Looking to add one of those little oil temperature thermometers to the bike (just for looks, as I know the accuracy of these has been debated on here) and wondering if anyone know what the thread pitch and size of our oil caps is. I've measured it with calipers to be close to M18 x 2.5, but don't have a thread gauge that big to actually confirm this is correct. Thanks in advance for any help. I got it from ajsutton.co.uk. - thread x pitch: 20 x 2.5 mm- thread length: 11mm - total needle length: 32 mm - exposed needle length: 6 mm. I may just end up buying one of his caps, as I've eyed them for probably a year.
