Shoei fairing Install - rusty1_imp - 02-28-2016

Just put a Shoei fm-2 on my bike, I have had them on some of my bikes over the years and do like the looks and the protection. I can not wait to get riding again. Hopefully by April 2nd. This is 2nd to last thing I plan on doing to this bike, my last thing [when they show up] are a set of magtan jb-4 wheels in gold.

You've done a lovely job on that bike, Rusty.

Paint looks great? I like the fairing, no doubt sheds air better than most of the other fairings. Nice job!

Very retro cool!

Looks good. How hard is it to install on the CB?

Very nice. Looks like that fairing offers good protection for your hands.

Hi drodg58, It was not hard to install, just had to made two brackets to move the signal light up about 2.25 inch's. The mount kit [on the bars] was a little ugly, so I got some nice aluminum ones from a Memphis shade kit with nickel coated round uprights. Cut the lower lip off the glove shelf, so I could put a radar detector in with a heads up display from legal speeding. I also sprayed the inside of fairing satin black and clear coated the outside. Like to try it out to see how it is, but it snowed here today.
