Looks like it might even fit on certain GoPro accessories, but not sure. The video specs look comparable to the low end GoPro models. I bought the top end GoPro Hero4 Black. The first one I got had a bad sensor and I had to send it back to GoPro for another. This one seems fine. Probably way more camera than I need where something cheaper would work fine. The big advantage to the GoPro are all the accessories made for them. You can buy cheap knock off accessories, too. GoPro aces sores add up very fast. If you're looking for a camera, check that site/message board. There is a great deal of information available Make sure your memory card can actually keep up, class 10 or higher. That goes for anything video or SLR photography.
