RE: Made her a little dirty... - Papa Weeley_imp - 08-12-2016 What you need now are some pull-back handlebars. ![]() Oh yeah - and gold emblems and some other gold details spread around the bike... RE: Made her a little dirty... - ss2wheels_imp - 08-12-2016 I love the seat,is it comfy and which model is it? RE: Made her a little dirty... - flynrider - 08-12-2016 Nice! That seat would have looked right at home on my Kaw LTD750

I guess those pictures didn't make it as apparent as it is in real life. Although I weigh 185ish, I didn't tell him that..I'd rather the seat be a little softer than firmer to suit the style of bike I am going after. I also opted for the leather grained texture..I prefer it over the plain almost smooth surface everyone else goes for. (08-12-2016, 07:42 AM)Flynrider_imp Wrote: Nice! That seat would have looked right at home on my Kaw LTD750 The KZ750 LTD is *exactly* what I am thinking of in my vision. Decades ago when I was in the Army, I owned a 1982 LTD 4 cyl, black, and it was one of my favorite bikes. I still have a few ideas left to do, but for right now I have the Staintune muffler, engine guards, the seat, handlebars, chrome grab bar, chrome chain guard, deleted the factory grab bars and moved the rear blinkers forward, and because of the factory grab deletion the rear blinkers are moved inward as well. RE: Made her a little dirty... - LongRanger_imp - 08-12-2016 I like it. I was thinking "CB1100 Midnight Special." RE: Made her a little dirty... - PowerDubs_imp - 08-12-2016 Yamahonda eh? I already made a Kawasuki- [url=http://s164.photobucket.com/user/powerdubs/media/IMG_4007_zpsg36wnc5b.jpg.html] ![]() But yea.. I know cafe racer style is extremely popular with everybody regardless of make / model for many years now...and the Whitehouse CB are awesome in their own right (I owned a 1976 CB750)... I just have a style in my head of what a motorcycle 'should' look like, based on what I grew up with and this is the closest I can get to it with a modern bike. The earlier style CB is nice, I just like a little more attitude without having to resort to a Harley. RE: Made her a little dirty... - Frulk_imp - 08-12-2016 Josh that looks good! stay on track with what you have in mind. RE: Made her a little dirty... - the Ferret - 08-12-2016 If 750 ltd is the look you were going for I'd say you nailed it. NIce work!
