Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - joeldelman_imp - 06-08-2017 Hi All, New member here, what a wonderful resource... So glad I found this forum. I live in Los Angeles, and am considering the purchase of a CB1100 with the intention of installing the full WhiteHouse K10 kit. I'm not, however, a do-it-yourself type (at least when it comes to bikes.) Has anyone hired a great shop to do this installation in the US? And, preferably, has anyone worked with a shop in Southern CA to create one of these beautiful machines with the kit from Samurider? Any info / referrals appreciated, thanks! Best, Joel RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - Cormanus - 06-08-2017 G'day and welcome to the forum, Joel. Good luck with your search. The WhiteHouse kit is a thing of beauty. RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - JF Coastal_imp - 06-08-2017 Welcome to the forum. !! I'm in Georgia, so i'm no help. But I can't wait to see photos.!! RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - Desert viper_imp - 06-15-2017 I am in La Quinta....I will start my build in November when I return from Idaho....I have the spoked wheels that I'm installing OUTEX tubeless tire kits in (these were take offs from Takashis' personal CB1100 EX) new Metzler tires, complete K10 kit in Candy Ruby Red, K10 seat, Ikon chrome shocks with long top collars, CB750 type mirrors, chrome meter covers, chrome chain guard, factory Honda engine guards, and chrome bar ends. This will be installed on my 2014 CB1100 Deluxe. The final item I'm still looking to purchase is a complete ENDURANCE RACING 4 into 4 exhaust from Japan...... RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - use2b_imp - 06-15-2017 the Candy Red is what i would have chosen , be sure to post up pic's RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - joeldelman_imp - 06-16-2017 Sounds like it's going to be an incredible build! Are you planning to do the work yourself? RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - Desert viper_imp - 06-16-2017 Yes the red is my favorite. I will be doing all the work myself in my garage....I will post pics as I go. RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - cbkev_imp - 06-17-2017 I look forward to the pictures! RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - iamheero_imp - 09-25-2017 Hey Joel, I'm in LA too. I usually do everything myself but with tires I went to Cycle Depot in Eagle Rock, 1644 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041. When they had my wheels off for the tires, they did the brake pads too since it was wearing unevenly for some reason. I felt like the guys were really reasonable price-wise and I didn't get a sketchy vibe from them at all. I betcha they'd do the install no problem. Good luck! Hope you get the CB, you won't regret it. RE: Considering a WhiteHouse Kit / SoCal Installation? - Brumbie13_imp - 09-30-2017 I had no idea what this kit was until I googled it. HOLY CRAP. New life goals. Too bad I could buy a whole new bike with the cost of the kit. |
