After Market seat - Pandeux_imp - 12-02-2017 Hi Guys, I'm looking for an After Market seat for my 2013 CB1100. I'm on the heavier side and find the stock seat a little unacomodating, looking at Corbin Gunfighter or K&N? Thoughts Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk RE: After Market seat - Banned_imp - 12-02-2017 I have the Corbin Gunfighter seat and I find it perfectly comfortable (some find it too hard). The only thing I would warn you of is that the Corbin does move you slightly back from the bars, not a problem if you have orang-utan arms like me but a few members here had to install handlebar risers to compensate for it. RE: After Market seat - Houtman_imp - 12-02-2017 The " higher version" of the Corbin seat does not slide you back as much as the standard ones. I have both . I get sore on mine after an hour. For me, the Corbin is far superior to the stock seat except looks, I really like the look of the stock seat. I have since lost a bunch of weight but back surgery has kept me from trying the stock seat again to see if it makes any difference. Although I have done 460 miles days on my Triumph with a touring seat, I do not expect to do much more than 300 mile days at this point in my life. ~300 miles to my youngest daughter's was OK on the Moto Guzzi V7II, with stock seat. The 280 miles I did on Saturday on the CB1100 was without seat issue (current weight just under 180#). However, after about 80 miles, I am ready for a quick stretch. If the seat were an issue, then a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady would be first consideration. My wife no longer rides with me, due eye issues, but I like having the rear seat to strap on a bag or jacket or box or tail bag...without adding a rack. Just my 2 cents RE: After Market seat - Pandeux_imp - 12-08-2017 (12-03-2017, 08:23 AM)SportsterDoc_imp Wrote:(12-02-2017, 05:12 PM)Pandeux_imp Wrote: Hi Guys, I'm looking for an After Market seat for my 2013 CB1100. Just my 2 cents Thanks champ, duly noted, think I going to get my stock sest upgraded here in Auckland. RE: After Market seat - Cormanus - 12-08-2017 I wonder whether Pandeux meant a K&H seat?
