Nobody seems to make one quite right for the CB1100. One that is minimalstic and doesn't add extra "clutter" to the back end. Triumph have several options for the Bonneville range so I bought one from a T100 (via the auction site) for fifty quid and had a local engineering company adapt it the existing Honda grab rail with some rather neat welding. Her "indoors" and me are both happy with the result.
Now if it'll just stop raining a bit we can test it...

what have you done to stop rust where they roughed it up to weld it?

That is cracking, I opted for a rear rack but much prefer what you have done. May see it in the flesh sometime as I'm in Derby too
