Two Worthwhile (IMHO) Upgrades - glenncal1_imp - 07-02-2018

First two are VFR500 Mirrors, they give a much better rear view than the stockers and I think the look better too. Second, I bought a stock 2013 seat from a forum member and took it to my local upolstry shop (they have only been open for 47 years, but they are learning Smile ), and the foam built up so the entire seat is the level of the back half on a stock seat. My natural seat spot is right where the rear starts to rise so this is much more comfortable for me.

My first upgrade was to remove the stickers off the tank

Followed by the side reflectors, front and rear. Seat looks comfy.

Mine was to lose the highway pegs, crash bars, bar risers, grip puppies, K&N air filter, and barn door windscreen the original owner had installed. Ahh, much better!

RE: Two Worthwhile (IMHO) Upgrades - the Ferret - 07-02-2018

My first upgrade was RLETS! Before I even brought it home from the shop. That was followed by 719 gel grips, metal valve stem caps and a battery tender jr plug.

Most important Upgrade for me and on any bike is the Horn
I installed the denali soundbomb split dual‑tone air horn on mine and it has saved me already = great insurance.
Compressor sits under the seat and horn is hidden under the tank up front in the frame.

The Valkyrie has a car horn on it if i can find the button in an emergency Sad = Honda moved the button

The mirror extenders sure help getting a better rear view as well.

Yes I have pretty wide shoulders and have the extenders on both my bikes.

Use2b - I wouldn’t mind seeing
pics of install spots if you ever decide to make a post.

A Flash sure shows dust doesn't it ?
it is not really mounted , just twisted until it fit and put some ruber between it and the tank. = " Rednecking is a science "
works great and will not fall out . compressor just sits under the seat .
another mod i did " besides RLETS is the old brake light in the helmet trick with the Tx module hooked to the brake light Thumbs Up
