MOTHERS/MAG AND ALUMINUM POLISH. - wildezt_imp - 07-27-2013 I tried this around 6 dollars MOTHERS/MAG AND ALUMINUM POLISH.. to shine up my headers .thought i will share the experience with you guys..as i liked the product very much.. the product has a nice creamy texture.. I used it with an autozone polishing rag. The product was very easy to use, no effort at all..and the bronzing just came off..clean leaving no scratches at all...leaving a mirror like finish.. you can almost see my neighbors' kid squatting next to the bike on the left most header...ps:iphone photo is not very clear.. well i know it would last only for a few miles.. but the polishing is part of the joy of owning her.. pics below for your viewing pleasure... ![]()

Nice to hear there's something out there that works EFFORTLESSLY. cheap way to shine your headers to a mirror finish.MOTHERS/MAG AND ALUMINUM POLISH. - Rolls_imp - 12-08-2013 Thanks wildezt. I tried your recommendation and achieved pretty good results with only a very reasonable amount of effort. This is now my go to polish for the crazy, sexy pipes on my CB11. RE: cheap ... POLISH. - The Spaceman_imp - 12-09-2013 Thanks Wildezt! I have a container of that in the garage, but I didn't know if it would dull or brighten the stainless. I've been using Semichrome, which works great but takes a LOT of elbow grease to get the job done. I'll go out and try the Mother's at lunch. BTW: does anyone else get an error: "Subject line too long etc." when posting a reply? I can work around it easily enough, just wondering if it's my browser or something. Title too long - the Ferret - 12-09-2013 I get it once in awhile, usually when someone else has a title thats too long, such as in this case. RE: - wildezt_imp - 12-09-2013 You're very welcome guys ! Btw: sorry about the long subject line. Mr.Ferret please feel free to tailor the subject line. I tried but it requires admin rights I guess.
