It's a little vague in the manual. So, what are your warm-up procedures on your CB before you ride off?

Depends. If I'm in a hurry, start while I finishe gearing up an then launch. Otherwise let it idle a bit longer before heading out. Either way try to ride a little easily until it's warm.

I really don't have one. I have to ride slow getting out of my complex and neighborhood so that is usually 3 - 5 minutes at or below 25 mph and then I get on a 45 mph road. It doesn't really ever freeze here do I don't worry about it.
If I were riding with it below 40° all the time I might let it idle for 4 or 5 minutes, but that would be about it.

Thanks, Randy. I should have added it's warm where I ride.

I have one mile of sandy (muddy if raining) road to ride from my home out to the pavement. I simply start up and ride out slowly. By the time I reach pavement, I figure it's warmed enough.

I give it a minute or two at idle and then I too have almost a mile to ride at 25 mph to get out to a main road. After that I ride as normal. Some would say I never ride at above warm up rpms anyway lol

I don't let it warm up that much, but like Randy and ferret, by the time I clear all the stop signs and traffic lights, and get to the edge of town, the engine is plenty warm.

1. Turn engine on
2. Put on helmet and gloves
3. Off I go Biker

I start it and let it run while I put on my gear (around 2 min or so). I try not to rev over 3k rpm or so for the first 5-10 mins of riding, or until I can tell the oil temp has come up (engine gets slightly louder and you can feel you're shifting through less-viscous oil).

I let mine idle for a couple of minutes.
