Smart Turn System - HWdesign_imp - 04-26-2019 Hi Has anyone installed this Smart Turn System? If so where did you mount the module and do you like it? https://safer-turn.com/product/smart-turn-system/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WEzj4t3PjQ Howard RE: Smart Turn System - GoldOxide_imp - 04-26-2019 The video appears quite convincing and covers common use cases. Hmmm. Thanks Howard. RE: Smart Turn System - the Ferret - 04-27-2019 Looks like it works pretty good, but man what a clap trap of a bike he put it on lol RE: Smart Turn System - 2017EX_imp - 04-27-2019 My friend Jim ( also a Forum member ) put this system on his 2014 SA. He said it works pretty well, but had problems with the rubber pad system in the turn signal switch that is supposed to prevent the switch from locking in the left or right position ( locking until the rider manually cancels ). He did order and install a 2013 switch housing in order to get his switches in the positions he was accustomed to, as opposed to the location of switches on the 2014 housing. He said the 2013 housing was more compatible with the rubber pads, and worked much better. To each his own, but I don't know if I would want to depend on a couple of rubber pads to modify the switch with 100% reliability. Other than that, the system looks dependable and well designed. RE: Smart Turn System - Lord Popgun - 04-27-2019 The Safer Turn System was discussed some on here but, as mentioned by 2017EX, the pad thing turned me off to it. RE: Smart Turn System - Houtman_imp - 04-27-2019 I use my thumb to switch the signals off , very reliable ! RE: Smart Turn System - Cormanus - 04-27-2019 I find either reliable; but there's occasionally a catch with the neural transmitter that affects the reliability of the whole system.
