Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - michael1954 - 05-31-2020 The pictures are of the front brake and clutch reservoir covers. I put the black ones on the 2013 CB since the reservoirs are black, and the red covers on the 2017 CB's reservoirs since the tank is red and reservoirs are silver. They look much nicer than OEM and work just as well, no leaks. A small addition to such a beautiful motorcycle. Got both sets from ebay and they are from China. ![]() ![]() ![]() I will post a couple better pixs when it stops raining. Here in South Texas, we have been getting rained on for 3 days straight! Cannot complain, the farmers need it. RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - Houtman_imp - 05-31-2020 They look very nice ! RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - misterprofessionality - 06-01-2020 these are going on my list. what a nice touch. RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - peterbaron - 06-01-2020 Very cool look, 2nd and 3rd pic, I vote #1 RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - the Ferret - 06-01-2020 very striking RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - michael1954 - 06-02-2020 (06-01-2020, 04:51 AM)The ferret_imp Wrote: very striking These covers are much nicer in person, the red even sparkles a little, and for the price, around $21 including shipping, just can't beat it. I find so few places on the CB's to make them look prettier, but these do. I place one facing me, the other facing the opposite direction to see CB1100 either coming or going. (szmoto2018) is a trusted seller. I have bought several items from him, including nice oil caps for both bikes, one black, the other in red. Matches the reservoir covers. RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - Charlie Bravo_imp - 06-06-2020 Those look great! When I bought my '13, it had cheap white plastic reservoirs on it. The guy I bought it from had bought it from the original owner, who had put a set of cafe bars on it, so he changed it back to stock bars but cheaped out on the reservoirs, bar-end mirrors, and the levers, not wanting to pay OEM prices for them. The white plastic reservoirs are so ugly I kept meaning to change them back to OEM, but hadn't done it, then one day I was looking at them, and picked up a felt-tip black marker from my bench and made them all black. That made them seem to almost disappear, and I got a set of OEM mirrors from a member of this forum. I'm still thinking of going to CB300 mirrors 'cause those OEM mirrors makes the bike look like it has snail eyes. I put one of the bar-end mirrors on my bicycle, it works great. RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - Crazyirv_imp - 06-14-2020 I ordered red ones on the 11th from ebay...received on the 13th! RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - ozigoo - 06-14-2020 These look nice too... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Front-Brake-Reservoir-Cover-For-CB-1300SF-1300F-1100-1000-BIG-ONE-750-Red/313101539566?hash=item48e64e58ee:g:wBcAAOSwYOxd5kw1 RE: Aftermarket Brake and Clutch Reservoir Covers - Gone in 60 - 06-15-2020 Hmm.. this gives me an idea. I have been thinking about getting a GoPro Session and two mounts, one for each bike. I want to securely mount the camera in a spot where I can easily hit the start/stop button. If I got an aftermarket reservoir cover, I could permanently attach the camera mount to it (epoxy or something), and not dingle up my nice original cover. |
