Fairings - Sodbuster_imp - 10-06-2020
Been pondering a LONG time, researching and comparing fairings and your posts, finally decided that the Road Comet is the best looking (for me), and ready to 'take the plunge.' Contacted samurider & waiting for their response. I think I saw somewhere that they "build to order", that means...what?
Any advice before I place my order?

That means that Chic Design builds it when they receive the order from Mr. T, or webike, or whoever. Mine, back in the day, took about a month. YMMV.
Advice? it will be a solid color unless you order it with the stripes. Also you can order clear or tinted windscreens or extras. Mr. T will confirm your order and quote the price and await your approval before placing the actual order. He does that with all orders though.
Forgot to add. Once Mr. T receives it from Chic Design he will immediately ship it and then you will get it really fast.

When I ordered mine from Samurider Mr. T. originally told me it would be about a month because they had to make it, but somehow he had it in a couple days and I had it to my door in about a week from the time that I ordered it.
The odd thing about this is the color I ordered was a rare color and AFAIK was only sold in Japan and possibly Australia.

A couple of years ago, I ordered a Road Comet II in black and handguards from Samurider. Communication with Mr. T. was very prompt, considering the time difference in Japan. From first contact to delivery it was right around two weeks.
