Smaller turn signal/running light choices - TxRonHarris_imp - 08-31-2016

Have been looking through the forum archives and wondering what choices those of you that have changed to smaller blinker/tail light and running lights have made. I've seen several LED versions and want something smaller/sleeker than originals and preferably aluminum instead of plastic. Was thinking maybe some of you could post up pics and info on yours if you've done this. Thanks in advance.

Several of forum members are using the same setup that I have. These are Lockhart Phillips polished aluminum small bullet turn signals and the polished aluminum Lucas sport taillight / license plate combo. Both are excellent quality and fit well!

Do you have a 2013 or 2014? I believe the 2014 turn signals are smaller than the 2013 ones. Are they plastic like the 2013s?

Also, do the 2014s fit on the 2013 bikes?

It's a 2013. Was thinking maybe going black anodized. Those Lockhart Phillips lights look good Ron, but hoping to find something smaller in same shape.

Postoak - My CB1100 is a 2013 and I just installed the 2014 turn signals without any problems. Yes, they are chrome plastic but are smaller than the stock 2013 units. I went back to the OEM turn signals because I like the chrome like shine better than the Lockhart Phillips models in the picture above.

Just installed these recently.

Simple two wire set-up. Still function as running lights in the front for those concerned about that. They do flash faster than normal as turn signals, but that doesn't bother me. Definitely sleeker, but bright and functional. Picked them up on Amazon.

mine has the 1969 CB750 type which are much smaller than the ones on my 1976 CB750

They used that style up to and including 1975. In 1976 they went to the larger turn signals.
