Stand-alone ECU - TTRacer_imp - 02-21-2024

Does anyone here run a stand-alone ECU? I'm looking at the AmpedFi Micro Squirt,[url=https://www.ampefi.com/product/ampd-microsquirt/]MICRO SQUIRT. Does anyone have any experience wiring one in and acquiring the mapping for a unit like this?

Don't bother.

You'll never replicate all the stuff that Honda is doing in the stock ECU that you aren't aware of.

Like what? I have dabbled in tunning on cars and get the basics. It's an FI air-cooled 4-cylinder. So what Honda magic is happening in literally one of the simplest engines Honda makes? It's not like we are talking about a CBR with traction control, abs, v-tech, fly-by-wire, I&E butterflies, etc.
