Nortons in the US? - redbirds_imp - 11-17-2014

Anyone know if the new Nortons will be available in the US. Not that I could afford one if they were but they are gorgeous and capture the unique character of the originals.

This one looks a real hoot to ride. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/320/19535/Motorcycle-Article/Norton-Domiracer-First-Ride.aspx

They have shipped a few in England I have heard, but depositors in the US are still waiting. They are so far behind schedule it's crazy. I heard they lost their revenue stream and have been looking for new sources, but can't verify that information. It's a shame Ken Dreer couldn't fulfill his dream due to lack of finances.

A fellow brought one to the Datil New Mexico Moto Guzzi Rally in August. A very very nice looking machine in person. Outside my budget, but I was very attracted to it.

Ahhh I see the news that the first shipments of the new Nortons into the USA was to California in May/June 2014.

A shame they're so costly, a result of limited production and top components I suppose.....I need to start playing the lottery. Now that's a planBanana.

They make the H2 look like a bargain.
