The stablemate to my CB1100EX. Honda NC750X DCT.

Very cool Vozza. I want to ride one of those (DCT models.... I have ridden the std shift model). Nice bikes!

So what is your impression of the DCT transmission so far?

That looks like it would be fun to ride. Looking at your photos of the NC750X I was struck by the resemblance it has to the Zero SR (A bike I've had a lot of interest in since first learning of the electric motorcycle market.)

Okay, so seeing them side-by-side, I see the numerous differences. But at first glance, the Zero immediately came to mind. Your NC is a nice looking ride. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

Hi Ferret, I haven't ridden a manual so can't really compare it. We have both here and what made me go for the DCT was that in drive or sport mode it is just a twist and go. When you pin the throttle in sport mode there is very little that can keep up to about 60 mph.
Some people over here have had a problem coping with the manual bike because of the low Rev limit leaving them out to dry sometimes when overtaking. No such problems with the DCT.
I use mainly Drive mode and that gets me in the low to high 70's mpg depending on my mood. I love this bike it is just so easy to ride and so practical with the extra luggage space where the tank would normally.
Hi MG, that Zero has a nice look about it Thumbs Up I wish that Honda had put a nice swinging arm on the NCX though just like that Zero one would be nice.

I wonder why Honda hasn't brought the updated NC700X to replace the 700 here in the US. From what I have read, the 750 is even torquier and uses less fuel (which is already pretty impressive)
