Cold but sunny ride - Chapomis_imp - 04-05-2015

Fired up my Sportster today. Changed the plugs, air filter and added a half a can of B-12 to the tank and she runs like top. Little polish and she will be ready to sell.

Its an entity that buys land for conservation. They own about 50% of the island so far. Whenever there is a property transaction the buyer pays an additional 2% of the sale price to the Land Bank. They are so flush that recently they have been buying up waterfront properties and removing the houses and letting it go back to wild.

Nice day, but with no shield it was too cold over 40mph.

Glad you could get out. Sunny and clear makes a good day even if it's a bit cold.

Wow, I thought there would still be piles of snow everywhere.
Great that you got out for a ride Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

No snow here for a couple of weeks now. Nantucket never really had much, but the mainland got hammered, they still have piles. Its amazing how 25 miles of water can change the weather from snow to rain, not complaining there. What really hit us hard was the ice. Canceled most of the Fast Ferries in February and early March.

Private entity? Not a bank? Holy cow, buying sea shore properties with houses and tearing them down? They must be flush with coin.

Unless they are junk, they don't tear them down they re-locate them. Back in 95 I got an antique house for free off the Cliff. Cost me 20K to move it to a lot inland. A few years ago they bought a friends property for 9M and he gets to live there for the rest of his life......wish I was closer to the ocean Smile

Taking the heritage off-isle for the summer to make room for the CB that I'm picking up next Monday
