CB750K bent frame discovery - xNE0x_imp - 04-28-2015
So, I've known since I bought my older CB750K that it has had a very rough life. I bought it with a bent rod, bent needle jet, 3 mismatched needle jet settings, and bent valves from the PO not adjusting the cam chain tentioner. I knew this bike was not all original, based on the goofy turn signals that were on the bike that don't fit the year.
Long story short, I've had time to mess around with restoring this to a more factory look. I recently added the correct style front turn signals, next is the rear. I took off the goofy luggage rack that was on it, and was horrified by what I saw next.
I am really not sure how to go about repairing this frame damage, but it's clear that it's out of whack. Any ideas? Everything else seems to check out, and I have not noticed any dog tracking while riding it.

Moderator might as well trash this thread. I was hoping someone here had experience bending back motorcycle frames.

xNeox, there are frame jigs and places that can straighten frames. Might find one near you with google. Of course a used frame might be an option too. That one looks like it might have been rear ended. Does it track straight when you ride it? Salvage title or regular title? Was your plan to restore it or use it as a daily type rider?

Tracks fine down the road.. I know the swing arm is not bent. What hid this damage was the luggage rack that was mounted on it. Problem seems to stem on the upper portion of the fame, past the battery tray.
I've hunted down a few video's, and will tear into it this weekend. If it is just the upper portion, I will need to heat it up and pull it back.
