Victory Pike Peak Racer - redbirds_imp - 06-02-2015

Cycle World has images of the new Victory racer with their in-house designed motor that is probably headed for regular production. I hope the motor finds a home in something other than a cruiser.

No kidding. With all they've put into that frame, forks, etc., etc., you'd think they'd be able to cobble up a streetable sportbike version pretty easily. Wouldn't that wake up The Great Unwashed!

This project is awesome. Victory motorcycles is probably one of the most underservedly overlooked companies in the industry -- I think I read somewhere Harley Davidson sells more bikes in a month than Victory in a year. Hope they do well with this.

A standard with this motor would be a winner in my eyes but I tend to believe that it will be used for a line of power cruisers. With their Indian line up and running it seems logical to take a different tack with the Victory brand. I know we'll see this motor in a Victory product as it looks ready for production.

Although looking at some of these other "naked" bikes, it makes me appreciate our CB1100 for how clean and simple they have the bike and especially the engine....not many wires, tubes, pipes, etc. all over the place.
