Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - Riko_imp - 08-21-2015 Hi everybody, its difficult to ID this specifik Honda motorcycle: ![]() http://japan.webike.net/products/21984970.html It is a Honda, new model I think, but I cannot seem to identify it. Looks like meters of a CB1100, but the rest is totaly different. And all new Honda bikes have digital meters (execpt for the CB1100), so wich bike is this? Thx! RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - Randy B - 08-21-2015 I'm pretty sure it's a CB1300.
RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - AndyHe_imp - 08-21-2015 I *love* that bike. Although I think it would look even better with symmetrical pipes like the deluxe. RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - Riko_imp - 08-21-2015 aah okay, that would indeed explain the fairing! Cause I don't remember that the gauges and display looked like that, they must still sell this new and updated it I suppose. Here in Belgium I don't see it on the website, it was the predecessor of the CB1100. So I wonder if this is JDM model only? At first I was kinda disappointed that Honda replaced the CB1300 with the CB1100, but as time passed I appreciated the CB1100 more and more and now I favour it over the CB1300 even though I generally prefer a faired bike over a naked one...:o That says a lot what I think (feel) for the CB1100 Thanks for the ID! RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - AndyHe_imp - 08-24-2015 I don't believe the CB1100 was a replacement for the CB1300 as they still sell that one in Japan. It is not air cooled and quite a bit higher performance than the CB1100. Suspension is much better also. RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - Riko_imp - 08-24-2015 True, but in Belgium and a lot of other countries its kinda the successor for the CB1300 since they stopped selling the CB1300 Both also being rather traditional naked bikes I can see why the CB1100 replaced the CB1300 Yamaha has about the same level of bike with their XJR 1300, yet instead of pulling it out of certain markets (but I believe that model was never even presented in North America...) they made an evolution of that model. Personally I am happy that Honda decided to go with the CB1100 if they had to chose between both models. RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - Papa Weeley_imp - 08-28-2015 I dearly love my CB11, but I think I would have had a hard time deciding on which bike to buy if Honda had sold the CB13 here, too... RE: Honda ID, wich bike is this?? - the Ferret - 08-28-2015 I would have had no problem at all. The CB 1300 looks similar to the Gen 1 Yamaha FZ-1 I sold to get the CB1100. Although a great bike, it was too modern looking for me. Partial fairing covering top of motor, rear end and pillion seat jacked up in the air with big gap to rear tire, no real rear fender, stubby front fender, no fins on motor, big ol radiator covering motor from front, honkin big muffler on r/h side. Thought you had one of those Papa? If that is the look you like consider the Suzuki 1250 Bandit. Looks just like the CB1300, and even a brand new 2015 model is under 10 grand retail. |
