One of my favorite bikes. Red 75 GL1000 - quietguy_imp - 01-24-2016 WOW! ![]() I've responded to the ad... Thanks! RE: Red 75 GL1000 - jazzmans_imp - 01-25-2016 Man! that brings back memories. Beautiful restoration. RE: Red 75 GL1000 - Papa Weeley_imp - 01-25-2016 Wow, what a beauty! I can appreciate the Gold Wings for everything they are now (though not my style), but these first bikes were very cool. I wish they still offered something stripped down and basic like this...maybe even with a 4. RE: Red 75 GL1000 - rboe - 01-25-2016 Nice! RE: Red 75 GL1000 - the Ferret - 01-25-2016 F6b has a fairing and bags. Not naked. RE: Red 75 GL1000 - quietguy_imp - 01-25-2016 Compared to the standard Goldwing... pretty darn close. But, you're correct, Mr F. RE: Red 75 GL1000 - BestStandard_imp - 01-25-2016 Closest thing now is the Valkrie. I worked at a Honda/Harley shop in high school and college wrenching and setting up tons of bikes. I still remember when the very first Goldwing came in... couldn't wait to put it together and take it for a spin!! It took two strong guys to muscle them out of those wooden crates they had back then. |
