Moto Guzzi V9 Anyone? - Obliviontoad - 02-15-2016

Just got back from the local Auto Show which always manages to fit a small motorcycle dealer display in the basement. There I checked out the new Triumph Street Twin, and declared it glorious and on my to do list once my finances are in order.

However, I was cruising the Moto Guzzi site, and saw the new V9 which has been on the back of my mind since the Ducati Scrambler came out. So, I present to you [url=http://v9.motoguzzi.com/en/]The Moto Guzzi V9

Be sure to download the accessory catalogue pdf and its imperfectly translated descriptions. Heck, at least they get a catalogue of accessories.

I guess they are headed to the US, the American site has info on them. The site I linked was the international one. Much more fun, and with videos to watch.

Enjoy!

Certainly on my radar. However; I'm a wee bit too long of legged for the V7 and the V9 may not be in the cards.

Street Twin...MG V9 (and v7)...cb1100...it was really tough to decide which route to go for me. I love the looks of all 3.

I like it. Looking forward to an in depth review. I'm partial to that Bobber but the Roamer looks good too!

Just watched a video on the new V9 and it reports 55HP and 45.7 FT/LBS of torque at 3K RPM out of a 850cc air and oil cooled v-twin engine. Shaft drive. ABS and traction control are standard. I didn't catch the weight. With those numbers, I hope it's light!

Saw this MG at a show a couple of weeks ago. I liked the red frame and all the red detail

I have my eye on the V9 also.

One thing that my be an issue is fuel capacity. The tank on the V7 holds almost 2 gallons more. My dealer has V7 tank in stock and as soon as the V9 comes in they are going to see if the V7 tank fits.
