2016 Ninja H2R 326hp supercharged - Offroad - 06-16-2016
After reading Ferret's demo ride on the VStrom I went looking for other demo rides.
I haven't found any but I did run across Kawasaki's new 2016 Ninja H2R.
First the $53,000 price tag got my attention and made me wonder what could they do to a motorcycle to make it cost so much.
I was impressed!

I've always been an in-line 4 fan....this definitely doesn't disappoint.

Somewhat related to this, you could get a regular H2 as opposed the H2R for about half the price. Sure it only has a meager 198hp at the rear wheel, but an ecu flash from Don Guhl gains you about 45hp. If anyone is interested, check out this video I found on youtube of a guy who owns a H2 with the don guhl flashed ECU. If you fast forward to around 11:10 the rider complains about wheelspin while negotiating a turn at highway speeds. Maybe they will let you test ride this tamed version of the H2R if you can find one.

What a beast. My FZ1 had 153rwhp, and I thought that was a handful!
