The hydraulic valves were nice, and once I went to the Xring chain adjustments were few and far between. Just needed more power and better brakes. It embodies everything I want/like now in a bike, including size, ergos, displacement, etc. When they were out, I was way too focused on sportbikes to even give them a second glance. My loss. While the CB1100 is like a Nighthawk with all of the improvements I always wanted (power, brakes, suspension), I still enjoy riding the old CB750 several times a week. It's an old, reliable friend I couldn't bear to part with.
