Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous motorcycle.

Thx JTB.

She looks really nice, but this is clearly a marketing video - at least most of it. I wonder if the complaints one finds all too frequently about the finishing quality of all Guzzis apply to this 100y special too ? That would be a shame. If not, she would certainly make for a fine motorcycle.

Interesting that Guzzi after all follows Honda's lead with a modern clutch system, which doesn't causes arthritis in the hands of older (and some female) riders.

The price is certainly ... well, an insurmountable challenge for people like me Wink

The present day [cable-based] Guzzi dry clutch offering is actually very soft, softer than equivalent-sized Honda offerings.

But yeah, the V100 finally offers features that most other modern manufacturers take for granted.

I sense a man falling in love with a Guzzi.

I've always respected the Moto Guzzi family of motorcycles. You may recall I was almost not here at the Forum by mere minutes choosing the 2014 CB1100 over the 2014 Griso. It was super close. In my mind the Griso looked better, sounded better, had more power (on paper anyway), but the CB1100 and Honda reliability reputation haunted me harder.

Here at the Forum I learned over the years some members had both.

I am one of the lucky guys who has both: an old (by now) 2007 Griso and a 2016 CB1100. Very different beasts but they are both absolutely fantastic bikes in their own way.
The new V100 Mandello seems to be a winner for Guzzi. Haven't heard & read anything negative from the reviewers and early buyers. If anything the Mandello may be too perfect for a real Guzzi... (but that is probably a good thing). If only Piaggio would invest some of their profits in more support for new dealerships...

Yeah, Dodgy I don't know what is chronically wrong with them.

Nice looking motorcycle but what interests me more is the new Stelvio which will be based on the V100.

Gecko, Gold is correct I know first hand that the cable operated dry clutch on the V85TT is light as a feather.... so light I actually thought something was wrong. I don't know for sure but probably all V7 series as well. (LOL definitely not the case on the California 1400)
As far as price yeah $16-18K isn't cheap and there likely won't be much negotiation on them for a while. BUT how about a brand new 2021 Guzzi Stone for $6,999? This is a lot of motorcycle for that money, 850cc, shaft drive, tubeless wheels, LED lighting, with a 2 year warranty. This outfit is just 30 minutes from me and ships bikes all over the country.
