2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - GoldOxide_imp - 02-16-2023 Two year-old fuel, soft tires, re-tendered battery. First start-up: https://youtu.be/R2AOUUEmjD8 RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - peterbaron - 02-16-2023 Looks good to me with Porsche engine RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - GoldOxide_imp - 02-16-2023 (02-16-2023, 06:51 AM)peterbaron_imp Wrote: Looks good to me with Porsche engine The lump is good Grasshopper, but not overwhelming. There is soul though. I am impressed with the gearbox. RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - Cormanus - 02-17-2023 It’s an impressive looking machine. How was it to ride? RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - Frulk_imp - 02-17-2023 I like it. Very clean and apparently well maintained bike. With the solid discs it has a Fatboy resemblance, and I’ve always liked the look of them. RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - GoldOxide_imp - 02-17-2023 The VRod was smoother than expected. Comfortable, strong pull, sloppy heavy as heck, and the brakes were soft, but likely original hydraulic fluid. In short: Fun. I couldn't ride it all day, but it did get a lot of attention from the locals ... who all happen to drive pick up trucks. RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - GoldOxide_imp - 02-19-2023 Brought the west coast VRod home ...For a diecast model, it is heavy like the real thing. RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - the Ferret - 02-19-2023 Pretty amazing likeness.
RE: 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - GoldOxide_imp - 02-19-2023 Thanks Ferret. For reference, the original that was in the video (above): 2003 HD VRod Anniversary Two Years Out of Storage - Mtneers - 02-19-2023 (02-17-2023, 12:05 PM)GoldOxide_imp Wrote: The VRod was smoother than expected. I had a friend who once had a V-Rod. About 90 miles to a tank was all he could get out of it. Enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
