Tirox Synthetic Chain Wax - redbirds_imp - 06-10-2015

After reading about this product on Web Bike World I bought some on Amazon. At the initial application the chain was first carefully cleaned with WD-40 and wiped dry followed with some compressed air to blow away any remaining cleaner. First chance to really test the effectiveness was at the rally where it was subjected to plenty of road miles and varying weather conditions. This stuff is a fine product. No fling on the rear after hundreds of miles. Even after riding on the sandy road from my home the chain feels dry and grit free.

Thanks redbirds! I have a can of Bel-Ray Super Clean to finish off then I'll give this a shot. The Bel-Ray goes on (and stays) white. I like the idea of having an invisible chain lube that doesn't fling onto my wheel and fender.

Thanks Redbirds. I hate cleaning chain line off the back wheel rim.

This and their chain cleaner (mostly bought just to get the spiral brush that comes in the can) are all I've used across all my bikes. It's great stuff.
