I just received a reply from my direct inquiry to Amsoil from Anthony Pierce about which product was recommended for the CB1100

I don't know if the Amsoil M.S.R.P. of $12.15 U.S. is a good price in the States, but I found a local Canadian distributor who sells the Amsoil 10W30 Motorcycle-Specific for only $12.55 Canadian per Litre Jug.
That makes Amsoil the cheapest Motorcycle-Specific Fully Synthetic Oil that I can buy here and it comes in the exact 10w30 the CB needs.
There are a few other brands of Motorcycle oil available locally, but they only have 10w40 or 20w50 and usually cost more than $14 CDN per litre/quart.

As far as additives for these new synthetics is probably not a good idea as a lot of chemistry went into the manufacture of these oils.
Why try and change what they created?

I think you will find that Petroleum based oils now contain just as many, if not more additives than some synthetic oils. Conventional oil must be significantly refined to compensate for the variance in the long-chain molecule size created in nature and the additives make up the difference to standardize performance.
The truly synthetic esters (like those in Amsoil), on the other hand, generally (but not in all cases) tend to provide a "purer" base with consistently sized molecules. As a result, fewer additives are required for similar performance and longevity without shearing.
