Scorpio Alarm installation - Volchkoff_imp - 12-02-2015 Dear friends, I decided to install Scorpio SR-i900 system on my CB1100. But I have a problem. There are many connector kits in producer stock (they lets to install without cutting of wires). But our bike is not listed. I discussed with their specialist and they advised to come in to their office and show a bike. And they will say which one of kits will fits to our bike. It is good idea, but they locates in US and I am in Russia.... I would like to ask someone of our forum member, if you will pass not far from their location, could you visit them and show a bike to their specialist. This is their address: 16055 N Dial Blvd. Suite #B-10 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260 From my side I can promise to make an installation guide and review. Surely one of the AZ members could do it for the community. 2014 CB1100 DLX 2013 CB1100 Std 1990 BMW K75 RT RE: Scorpio Alarm installation - Volchkoff_imp - 06-21-2016 So, the alarm installed. It is easy Under plastic box for instruments there are unused socket for accessories. There are all we need +12V + turn signal + turn signal GROUND +Tail light We are using connector kit GEN-1 from alarm. I bought connector and terminals for modification of GEN-1 that will be the HM at the top, ot the MT 6 pin towards the bottom of the page, the only difference is, one will have a mounting bracket slot and the other will not. http://www.cycleterminal.com/hm-sealed-series-090.html So, now it is just Plug&Play. RE: Scorpio Alarm installation - Lord Popgun - 06-21-2016 Mr. VolchKoff and I had some discussion about this earlier this year. It was offline so it isn't posted anywhere. He sent me the pic above, and I sent him one of mine and they are not the same. Apparently the wiring on the Russian and US bikes is not exactly the same. For instance, the accessory connector on the US bikes is a 2 wire red connector. I can't remember the turn signal and tail light connectors and I'm not near the wiring diagram right now, but they are not all on one connector like that. If you will check my photo there are 3 2 pin connectors near the accessory connector. Orange, blue, grey. That is right turn, left turn, tail light. Accessory connector have +12V ignition key, GND. |
