2014 Exhaust - White Dog_imp - 09-28-2021 Is it possible to retrofit a 2014 DLX dual exhaust system to a 2014 STD? Would I be able to retain the center stand if this project were to materialize? Thanks RE: 2014 Exhaust - Cormanus - 09-28-2021 Search is your friend, White Dog. Start here: http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7655 Yes Cormanus I am familiar with the write up to use 2014 DLX exhaust system on a 2013 Standard but I am specifically interested in a 2014 DLX exhaust for a 2014 STD. I know the center stands are different 2013 to 2014 , but could I use my existing center stand with the cross over exhaust pipe? RE: 2014 Exhaust - Cormanus - 09-29-2021 Apologies White Dog. I’m afraid I don’t know and I can’t recall anyone reporting doing it. RE: 2014 Exhaust - PowerDubs_imp - 09-29-2021 Center stands are different. The leg you step on is longer to clear the left muffler. I have a '14 and have all the parts to remove my 4-1 and install my new 4-4. I am just holding off as I want to receive, install and dyno my new dual level velocity stacks first so I have a clear A/B - then I can install the 4-4 and dual auto-tune and see what's what. |
