I think I have one allen wrench left in mine. Used them for home projects and they never made it back. Starting a toolkit use thread because I never had to use it on the road and now I'm curious.

Many years ago, when I had an Alfa, we used to keep burritos and hot sandwiches nice and toasty by wrapping them up well in tin foil, and leaving them in the valley between the twin cams. No room on the CB1100 for anything more than bread sticks though.

That's good to know especially if you are riding naked. If you line the toolbox with aluminum foil, it would probably keep nachos warm too!

Fun topic! When I worked on Mid Wilshire in L.A. in the magazine business, I bought a "throw away" car for my two-hour-each-way commute - something that would be reliable but cheap, and with no sentimental value for the parking lot dings.
I was checking out an '86 Camry for $900, and when I opened the hood and saw the natural trough formed by the intake manifold meeting the engine, I instantly thought "lunch warmer".
Shoulda kept that car... '80s square Japanese cars are bringing serious coin right now.
