Hi folks what size socket’s are required for the rear axle on a CB1100RS in order to adjust the chain? I understand a 1 1/4 AF will fit for the right hand side but what is the size for the left?
Many thanks,
1 Fin

Wrench size for axle should be 22mm.
The nut is usually a 27mm.

From the rear of the bike, the one on the left is a 22mm head of the axle bolt and the one on the right is the 27mm axle nut. You hold the one on the left while you turn the one on the right. To tighten, hold the one on the left and use your torque wrench on the one on the right. Best to use metric if you can. The inch size may work, but it could also result in rounding of the nut. Don't want to take the edge off your nuts.
