2017 EX Headlight Dimmer Switch problem? - sleeper_imp - 06-05-2022 Headlight dimmer switch High beam position - NOT WORKING, no blue indicator Low beam position - working Passing light control switch headlight. Flashes the high beam headlight - working - yes/blue indicator Noticed earlier after getting the bike home, just now investigating. USED 2017 EX, low mileage bike. Anyone else experience this …. Still under warranty. Thanks, sleeper/RajunCajun RE: 2017 EX Headlight Dimmer Switch problem? - Cormanus - 06-05-2022 Something in the switch, maybe? Disassemble it and give it a clean? RE: 2017 EX Headlight Dimmer Switch problem? - pekingduck - 06-05-2022 I would recommend taking it to the dealer for the repair under warranty. RE: 2017 EX Headlight Dimmer Switch problem? - Cormanus - 06-05-2022 Even better idea. I don’t know how I missed that important sentence.

But as it's a safety issue, the Honda dealer would likely replace that $145 switch. And if it's the LED headlight unit itself, that's over $1100. Sometimes, when there is evidence of tampering, a service manager can deny warranty coverage. Amazon has them for $1116.75, but shipping's free. And it's such a crappy light. Hmmm, maybe I should order a spare headlight, just in case. ........I'll call Bike Bandit in the morning.
