Discounted CBs - pariah_imp - 04-23-2014 Been looking for a nice CB for a while now and I've noticed that the Dealers are heavily discounting the old models (I've found them for 8K new on Biketrader) Presumably this is due to the new model. Is there a significant difference between the models apart from the six speed box and cosmetics? RE: Discounted CBs - shdwghst457_imp - 04-23-2014 CB1100 Base MSRP $10,399* Features & Options Timeless styling, modern technology 1140cc DOHC PGM-FI engine Disc brakes, adjustable suspension CB1100 DLX Base MSRP $11,899* Adds: Combined ABS, .5 gallon larger fuel tank, 4-2 Exhaust That's Honda official stance on the difference, at least in the US market. I would check their site in your locale for sure. RE: Discounted CBs - pariah_imp - 04-23-2014 Amazing how much cheaper they are in the US than the UK. RE: Discounted CBs - wayne van horn_imp - 04-23-2014 get the out the door price, dealers offer low prices to get you in the door then add on every thing they can to jack up yhe price. A guy in Germany posted that they're around $18,000 US in his country. RE: Discounted CBs - Capo - 04-23-2014 A gently used or leftover 2013 CB1100 is a great bargain, and can be found in the $8k range all day long. They just depreciate quickly in year one, at least in the US, and you'll get a hell of a bike for not a ton of money. Unless you are smitten by the features of the 2014, you can save a good $4k OTD by buying a leftover or used 13 model. RE: Discounted CBs - VTR1000F_imp - 04-23-2014 I paid 12 000 USD for a white 2013 last month. Official price for this was 13500 USD. RE: Discounted CBs - shdwghst457_imp - 04-23-2014 I bought my '13 new in February, 8,999 ($1k off U.S. MSRP for the 2013) RE: Discounted CBs - The Spaceman_imp - 04-23-2014 (04-23-2014, 01:30 AM)Capo_imp Wrote: A gently used or leftover 2013 CB1100 is a great bargain, and can be found in the $8k range all day long. OR, you can trade in a perfectly good '13 and pay $6,000 for a set of pipes and .5 gallons more of gas. Not that there's anything wrong with that.... Not to mention cosmetic changes that are perhaps more to your liking (matching side panels, silver engine/wheels, etc). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
