Headlight brightness - rob_imp - 05-26-2014
Having test ridden the 1100, I was/am sold on the bike. I was wondering how good the headlight is at night. The sport bike I have has wonderful lights for riding at night, but the ZRX1100 I had before it was not very good. It was a lot better than the old KZ's I had when I was younger. Its really a moot point since I'll be picking mine up June 7th, still it would be nice to have a little input from current owners.

Rob, I've only ridden mine at night a couple of times, but I live in the country and there's not a lot of street lighting. I've found the headlight fine. Better than at least one car I've owned.

I like it better than how I remember my Shadow's light production, but then again I like everything about the CB more than the Shadow =]

It's not as good as my Vee, which had two H-4 lamps, but it's still pretty darn good. I've no inclination to upgrade it etc.

I have a dr650 dual sport and the headlight is barely better than a flash light. The cb1100 headlight is as good as the lights on my silverado pickup truck, very bright.

Concur. Niice and wide too. Picks up those pair of eyes lurking in the woods before they jump in front of the bike. Like many rural areas, deer are very plentiful.
