Chicago Bike show - CA200_imp - 02-13-2016

It was a good day to go to the bike show with the temps in the teens.

There tons of wild custom bikes, but this one was a little more less
radical.

This is the new 2017 SV650, they haven't released the price or can the dealers order it. I thought it was great. Had a first gen. and of all
the 100 bikes I have had it always left me with a big smile.

Have a friend who really likes the 690 Duke so had to give it a try.

VJMC had a nice display also the brit bike crowd .

Of course there were the odd displays and venders. There was even a
barber !?
We did have a good time ,even bought a pair of gloves. Seemed so strange since I vended at this show for 10 years.
Had to stop at Giordano's for lunch ( Great food) before we left.
Wish we had one in Madison.

Agree with that. Suzuki finally got the look right. That 650 punches way beyond it's weight class.

The CB on display was a black 2014. No word on any release date of future CB's.

How did that 500x fit you CA?

Fit was very good - I know we are about the same size ferret - had good amount of leg room for a bike this size
but I like the other colors better. I don't know why I do this to myself , most times I can't afford to fill the tank
on the CB living on SS yet I am always looking at bikes.

It is an illness, I could spend all day in the dealer just looking, climbing on and off and smelling that new bike smell. I have been like this for 45 years, and dont know how to stop..
