I called them once and it was an additional $1500.00 out the door.

Welcome to Pete's... They often claim to have the best prices, but if you are interested in something particular, they jack on a bunch of extra charges so the out the door price is higher...
They tried it on me once, never went back.. Found out I wasn't alone...

As a merchant, I completely understand. People HATE having the OTD price differ from any quoted/advertised price.
I never charge shipping or any other fees, one price, one charge, people love it. Why do it any other way?

2014 new 6999.00 +300 prep + 300 freight+ 400 tax in PA
I had a very good experience at Pete's. I know 300.00 freight for a bike is normal. The prep fee is what it is, they have to pay the service department to get it uncrated and ready to ride. Tax well that is the how we keep the 1% from using guns to take our money.
Pete's is the best dealer I have bought from in years. They did not even mention an additional warranty on anything!
And they have 1 more!
