Happy to see the photos of the 2017s. I'm not sure that the painted tank bars / stripes do anything for the bike visually...I prefer subtle, elegant pinstriping if there's to be more than one color to a tank. When the CB1100 first came to the U.S. in '13, I waited to buy because I was hoping there would be other color options beyond red. I was happy when the '14 standard came out black--and with subtle pinstriping! Even happier when the the price dropped from the MSRP to below 8k! The only thing I might have changed was the black engine cases...and now I see they have those silver / nickel on the black '17--that's nice. Looks like they blackened the front fender from chrome. I think they should bring the blue tank to the U.S. Great looking machines!! Oh wait, I have one of these : )
