I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - Guth_imp - 12-18-2016 Sure, it's just a concept bike, but still, this is the "CB1100 Forum." I did a quick search for TR Concept, etc. and turned up nothing here. Admittedly, I've not been real active around this place for a little while, so my apologies if I've just missed it. This one is bound to elicit some strong opinions... ![]() [url=http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/news/honda-cb1100-tr-concept/]The Honda CB1100 TR Concept Gives a Nod Towards Europe’s Flat Track Racing Fascination A search of the internet turns up plenty more. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - CB1100DLX_imp - 12-18-2016 Love it! Flat track is so cool in so many ways. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - Cormanus - 12-18-2016 I like it too, but I wouldn't know what to do with it. I certainly couldn't ride it to its potential. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - LongRanger_imp - 12-18-2016 I like it. I can see it now.. Someone will buy it, install a tall windscreen and highway pegs, and then complain that the shocks interfere with his panniers. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - Sam Mac_imp - 12-18-2016 I like it, not sure what I'd do with it but it just looks Bad A$$. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - Rolls_imp - 12-18-2016 I'm a fan! Looks like major fun. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - beardyweirdy@me.com_imp - 12-18-2016 I love it. Wouldn't mind trying to build something like that... Used 2013 models are coming down to almost project prices in the UK. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - CA200_imp - 12-19-2016 Kinda reminds me of some of the race bikes when I used to go to the races back in the very early 80s. RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - the Ferret - 12-19-2016 Nicely done, but personally I prefer the 79 CB750F replica that one of the magazines did http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7849&highlight=Freddie+Spencer RE: I'm not sure that I've seen any mention of the TR Concept around here - Old Bob_imp - 12-19-2016 Yes - gets my vote. I have always preferred the look of Flat Trackers and Street Scramblers, rather than the usual Cafe Racers and Sports Bikes that still tend to predominate in the UK - although Adventure Bikes have made more of an impact recently. In fact the 2013 CB1100, from certain angles, has a rather good Flat Tracker look to it. |
