All black not so bad after all - ohiorider_imp - 03-12-2017 I haven't even taken delivery of my 2014 standard CB1100 .... any color I wanted as long as it was black. Soon as the weather breaks, she comes home. In the meantime, I've meditated over the all black color scheme. Initially, I thought, 'well the price is right, though I don't like all black.' However, the more I look at pics of the all black 2014, I'm beginning to think '.... not so bad.... .' Honda has done a nice job on the all black bike, IMHO .... just enough shiny stuff to set off various areas. This'll be a real switch from BMW and Moto Guzzi twins, but I'm looking forward to it. And the Beemer and Guzzi are still in the stable, so I can switch from 4 cylinder smooth to that sweet 2 cylinder feel of flat and v twin Euro bikes. RE: All black not so bad after all - nhawk7504_imp - 03-12-2017 When I first saw the black in the crate at a dealer, I thought, that, is a nice looking machine. I like blue. I like white. Yellow too. Red, I would personally like Fire Engine Red myself. |
