Holy cow! Someone downed a power-pole which left power lines going across the road and a rider drove through it and was decapitated. I can't believe what I'm reading.

Losing one's head is a fairly common occurrence in the north county with drunk snowmobilers hitting fence lines at night.

Yikes. I nearly did that to myself years ago at a ski resort. I didn't see a rope that had been strung across the edge of a trail and proceeded to ski right through it. Caught me in the chest, slid up my neck, hit me in the face and tore off my hat and goggles. Could have been really ugly.

Regarding the Fox News report: the rider wasn't "beheaded" for crying out loud. He was decapitated.
