Bridgestone T30 as 11RS oem tyre. - Macduff_imp - 07-16-2017
When I saw Honda had used Bridgestone T30 tyres on the CB1100RS I had expected that it would have been the Evo version. So I was surprised when I checked mine and found they had used the older spec non-Evo version. From what I can see the new version has a better claimed mileage and wet grip than the the plain T30. Confusingly Bridgestone still list the plain T30 as a current tyre and they also still list the now ancient BT-21 and its replacement the BT-23 which makes Sports touring tyre range is a touch crowded and confusing.
In someways I'm happy they chose to fit an older spec tyre as I can use it to in a man maths justification for swapping to something current like a Metz R01.

I have the T 30 front rear on my 13. Look fwd to hearing abt the RS from you and others.
In my view, Mother Honda got it right with the RS. Enjoy.
