Imgur test run - Rocky_imp - 07-31-2017 I registered with Imgur and am just doing a first test run to see if I have it right. I did a copy and paste, but got only a link. I was hoping for a picture. Need to learn more. When I right-click I get "open link in new tab" - not "open image in new tab." I'm using Internet Explorer. https://preview.ibb.co/fpmWs5/IMG_1860.jpg I went back and dug out the instructions posted some time ago by Nortoon where I can post directly from my PC. I did that, but my pictures are too big, sigh! RE: Imgur test run - the Ferret - 08-01-2017 Rocky after you download the picture to imgur, you select which pic you want to post and click on it. You should get the image by itself on a page with image link options in blue to the right of the pic left click on the BBcode one and it should automatically copy. Then paste it in your thread by left clicking again, and it should show up as a pic when you hit post reply
RE: Imgur test run - Randy B - 08-01-2017 ![]() If you just use img and /img in brackets [] at the beginning and end of the link https://preview.ibb.co/fpmWs5/IMG_1860.jpg you will see the image. I'll try what Randy said - if I understood him correctly. HEY, it worked!! Cool stuff Randy!

I copy the direct link, then when posting, I click on the image icon that sits right above the text box (looks like a little picture of mountains and sun). When you click that icon it opens a box and you can just paste the direct link into that box. Click "OK" and it adds the image codes to the beginning and end of your link.
