I sincerely hope that no member of this forum is personally affected by the terrible events in Florida today. If they are, please accept my deepest sympathy which is also extended to the family and friends of the victims of this senseless act.

How about the football coach who shielded students with his own body.
That is a true hero.
Kids should grow up idolising people like that, not idiot athletes (not to say all athletes are idiots) or vain, vapid movie stars.

I also hope that none of our Florida-based members were impacted by this tragic event. I'll add my sympathies to those already noted for any and all of those people that were in some way affected.
I'll also ask people to remember to please try to prevent this from devolving into any sort of political based exchange as there are plenty of other places on the Internet to do so.
