Accessories/Parts/Vendors ETC. - el duque_imp - 02-17-2018

I'm on the verge of owning one of these awesome looking machines.

It is about to go down. Banana

First thing I need to do is have it shipped though. Kinda daunting but I'm doing the research. any suggestions for that is appreciated.

Next, well.....

buy some stuff for it.

I'm probably gonna need some leather bags. Nice ones to go with the retro vintage theme. That and some heated grips. And maybe other bits that I don't know I need yet Big Grin That's after I tally up all the costs. I might have to settle for a duffle bag.Undecided

I was wondering where you guys get all the add ons. Tires, bags, seats, racks. etc. etc. I'm guessing from everywhich where. ebay, oem honda dealers, private sellers, etc.
any links suggestions are appreciated.
I will post up pics - don't want to get ahead of myself tho.
thanks

el duque, you're on the money suggesting the sources of parts and accessories are many and varied. One that stands out is Samurider.com who is based in Japan. I've not heard a bad word about his service or prices.

Thanks Cormanus
lots of good $tuff on that site.

We have a number of different options available to us as you've already guessed. But I'd say to look no further than [url=https://www.samurider.com/index/]Samurider.com (also as currently found via the banner appearing near the upper right hand corner of this page) if you want to make sure that you receive what many of us here feel is the best source of information and overall level of customer service when it comes to accessories for your CB1100.

Samurider is the absolute best. No doubt about it.
The owner, Mr. T, speaks English and as Guth said, has awesome customer service.

Japan.webike.net is another source. They are reputable. They also apparently use Google translate which in the past has led to some pretty funny communications.

Yes, for parts and accessories, you can't go wrong working with Mr. T.

For OEM heated grips, I think Samurider was the cheapest by quite a bit as Mr. T.'s pricing included the CB1100 specific wiring harness. If you buy things together and combine shipping from Japan you can maximize the value as well.

For other Honda parts available here in the States, shop online parts sites and then haggle with your local dealer as everything seems to have a ton of mark-up.

Mr.T / Samurider is the VERY BEST !!!

I've bought from both SamuRider and Webike with no issues whatsoever.

Example- my Ikon shocks from Webike were hundreds less than ordering here in the U.S.
